５日目の朝、昨日のミス・ナバホたちの団体がウィンドウロックまでの道のりを馬で行進すると言っていたので朝から少し道を戻り僕達も合流した。さすがに民族衣装をまとった団体が馬車や馬などで道のヨコをのんびり行進しているので、直ぐに合流する事が出来た。彼女達は「今日も一緒にお祭りに参加しましょう。」と誘ってくれたので、しばらくお祭りの列についていたのだが、残りの日数と行かなきゃならない場所を考えると今日中にアルバカーキーまで到達したかったので、後ろ髪を引かれる思いでその場を後にした。
