Grand Canyon

まず向かったのはグランドキャ二オン、初めてアメリカの道を緊張しながら２時間ぐらい走っていると、道の脇にナバホ族の露店がぽつぽつと出てきた。僕たちはそのつど車を止めその店を見ていくと、シルバーアクセサリーやカチーナ、壺、そんな物が置いてあった。アクセサリーは、できの良い物もあれば悪いものもあって、中には「これは素人が造ったの？」と思うぐらいひどいのもあった。 The stall of Navaho has gradually come out sideward of the road when having first faced it runs about two hours on the road in Grandoca 2 on and the first United States while being strained. そんな事を思いながら先を急いだ。フラッグスタッフを出て６時間ほど車で移動し、やっとグランドキャ二オンに着いた。そのスケールの大きさに３人はただただ呆然と立ちつくした。すると、雷鳴とともに突然のスコールに見舞われた。辺りを見回すとすぐそばにレンガ張りの建物（お土産屋）があったので、そこでしばらく雨やどりをすることにした。小一時間ほどで雨もあがり空には二重の虹が出ていたので、僕たちは写真を撮りに外に出た。するとＢ君の髪の毛が、まるで擦った下敷きを頭の上にかざした時のように逆立っているのに気が付いた。指先からはバチバチっと火花が出て、まるで雷に反応しているようだった。周りにいた観光客も、Ｂ君の逆立った髪の毛を見て最初は笑っていたが、再び雷が鳴り出し恐くなったのか、気が付いたらみんな建物に非難していたので、僕達も慌てて建物に入った。 It hurried while thinking of such a thing. It went out of Flagstaff, it moved for about six hours by car, and it finally arrived at Grandoca 2 on. Three people nothing but kept standing nothing but in the size of the scale with the blank surprise. Then, it suffered from the sudden squall with thunder. The rain stay decided to be done to nearby for a while then as soon as the vicinity was looked about because there was a building of the brick -lined (souvenir shop). We ..taking.. went out of the photograph because rain went up an hour or so, too and a double rainbow had reached the sky. The hair of B then noticed and the hair noticed the head as sitting up the a celluloid board laid under written paper that had worn static electricity though it bristled up. The Batibati spark seemed to occur from the tip of a finger, and it to be reactive to the thunder. The tourist in surroundings also saw B's hair of which it bristled up it began to thunder again, it became scary or it entered a building first though it did not know as we panicked, too because everyone criticized to the building when noticing it though it was laughing.

しばらくして雷も去り外に出てみると、何やらみんなが騒いでいたので僕たちもその方向に惹きつけられるように向かった。人垣から覗き込むとグランドキャ二オンの谷底から一羽のイーグルがまるで弧を描くように、優雅に飛んでいた。僕らはその風景に感動してしまい、写真を撮っていないという事に気が付いて、慌ててシャッターを切った。（日本に帰ってその写真を現像してみると、まるで現像の時に付いてしまったゴミのようにちっちゃくしか写っていなかったのがとても残念でならない。） Because everyone was making noise some when the thunder left after a while and it went out, it faced it so that we might get in the direction dressing. We cut the shutter panicking because the thing of being impressed by the scenery, and not taking the photograph was noticed. (If it returns to Japan and the photograph is developed, it is a tiny spit or not becoming of not reflected very regrettably like the garbage that has adhered at development. ) グランドキャニオンを後にし、次の目的地はモニュメントバレイなので、夕方の５時には車にもどり、その途中にあるモーテルを探した。 Grand Canyon was made a back, it returned to the car at five o'clock of the evening because the following destination was Monumentobarei, and it searched for the motel that was on the way of that.
